I have been painting ivy leaves for Vasilisa’s Doll’s clock box home 🌿✨ Did you know there is a variety of ivy called Goldchild, or Hedera Helix? Both names feel like they were meant for this project. I love a touch of synchronicity 🍃⏳🌙

Autumn Equinox or Mabon blessings to you all 🍂✨ This turning of the wheel is all about balance, harvest and gratitude, and how magical to have it fall so close to a New Moon Eclipse 🌑🌕 I was lucky enough to spend the weekend on the holy island of Anglesey with a good friend. After a Saturday of torrential rain we were gifted sunshine on Sunday, a trip to the sea 🌊 and a visit to the ancient and powerful Bryn Celli Ddu 🌿 What a place to stand at this time of shifting light and deep magic. Today @biggles_art has been patiently teaching me how to use Instagram stories so apologies for the bombardment 😅 I only began using Instagram regularly a year or so ago and I am still learning… Hints and tips welcome!

One of the things I noticed in abundance at the Heraklion Museum in Crete were the most wonderful Minoan wax seal stamps 🕊️✨ It felt like such a lovely coincidence, as I had just received my very own Flotsam Fables wax seal before we went away. Today I had my first go with it, sealing up these little bottles of grains and beans 🌾🫘 They will become part of Vasilisa’s Doll’s clock box home ⏳🕰️ In the old tale, one of the three impossible tasks set by Baba Yaga was for Vasilisa to sort through and separate endless grains… and here that story finds its way into my hands.
